Delete your account

You can delete your Spurgeon HQ account, and everything stored with it, at any time.

In the app

1. Open Spurgeon HQ and sign in.
2. Go to You → Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.

Your account is deleted straight away.

By email

If you can’t use the app, email john@spurgeonapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your account within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.

What is deleted

Your account and email address, your profile, your reading and listening progress, streaks and finished readings, your saved sermons and readings, your highlights and notes, the topics you follow, and your ratings (the readers’ rating averages are updated without them). You are also removed from our email list.

Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and our subscription provider are kept under their own policies and legal duties. Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel it first in your Apple or Google account settings (see Support).
